Matteo Carbonelli, secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea, in a speech at the meeting praised Kim Il Sung as a legendary hero who defeated the U.S. and Japanese imperialists in one generation, saved the destiny of the country and the nation and turned the DPRK into a socialist power.

Supreme leader Kim Jong Un, faithful successor to the idea and cause of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, laid down a new line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force and is leading the Korean people in their effort to carry it out, he noted, adding:

We will conduct more brisk activities to support the Korean people in their struggle to firmly defend socialism.

Aldo Bernardini, chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche idea, and other speakers said that Western media are floating misinformation on the grave situation prevailing on the Korean Peninsula, saying that the DPRK government has taken countermeasures for self-defence to cope with the U.S. and its allies' decades-long moves to stifle the DPRK.

The chairman of the Brasilia Federal District Committee of the Brazilian Communist Party at the round-table talks lauded the feats performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

They noted that Kim Jong Un is wisely leading the Korean people in their effort to build a thriving nation, resolutely shattering the moves of the imperialists to ignite a nuclear war, under the uplifted banner of independence and Songun.
