The message said that the giant project of splendidly building a park in the plaza of the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun where the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il lie in state has been completed with success before the Day of the Sun, the greatest holiday of the nation.

The plaza park is a large flower garden praying for the immortality of the leaders, a product of the strong sense of moral obligation of the Korean people and service personnel for the Generalissimos. It is also a park built under the warm loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea for the people, it noted.

The Generalissimos were peerless patriots and people's fathers who adorned the whole course of their noble revolutionary careers with warm love and great dedication to the country and the people, taking the lead in hewing out the path of the grim and arduous revolution of Juche, it stressed.

The plaza park is not mere product of garden art but the best scenery and socialist fairyland reflecting the gem-like loyalty and sincerity of the army and people of the DPRK to hold the Generalissimos in high esteem in the fragrant flower garden, it stressed.

Through the project the officials and other people and service personnel clearly showed the whole world how ardent and sincere the minds of the army and people of the DPRK of upholding their leaders are, it said.

The WPK will always remember the infinite loyalty and sincerity displayed by them in sprucing up the plaza park and they will be brilliantly recorded in the history for realizing the cause of immortalizing the leaders in the era of Songun, it stressed.

Kim Jong Un in the message of thanks stressed the need to eternally preserve and more splendidly and perfectly spruce up the Kumsusan Palace of the Sun and glorify for all ages the sacred revolutionary history and undying feats of the Generalissimos as befits the descendants of Kim Il Sung and soldiers and disciples of Kim Jong Il.

He expressed firm belief that all the officials and other people and service personnel would get united around the party single-mindedly, greet the 65th anniversary of the DPRK and the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the Fatherland Liberation War with a high degree of political enthusiasm and proud labor feats and glorify the new century of the Juche revolution as annals of victory and glory.
