The U.S. high-handed and arbitrary practices have turned the world into a theatre where injustice stalks.

The nuclear-armed U.S. anti-DPRK moves can be foiled only with nukes and if one is possessed of powerful nuclear deterrence, one has nothing to be afraid of and can concentrate efforts on economic construction and improvement of people's living standard. This is a conclusion we have drawn.

The WPK laid out the line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force. This is the most just option in line with the requirements under the prevailing situation.
