U.S. Double-dealing Tactics under Fire
|
|
Pyongyang, April 30 (KCNA) -- The U.S. introduced Osprey into south Korea for the Foal Eagle joint military exercises in the wake of its amassing of seven nuclear-powered submarines in waters off Guam, a strategic vantage point of the U.S. forces in the Western Pacific. Rodong Sinmun Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: This brought into bolder relief the U.S. double-dealing tactics. The U.S. is not interested in dialogue and negotiations. This is evidenced by the fact that it raised unrealistic and absurd issues as preconditions for dialogue, persistently going ahead with reckless arms buildup. The dialogue and negotiations touted by the U.S. ruling quarters are aimed to calm down the strong will and high vigilance of the DPRK as it is reacting to their adventurous moves for a nuclear war with toughest countermeasures, and step up the preparations for it. The DPRK urged the U.S. to make a bold decision to withdraw all its nuclear weapons and related facilities from south Korea and its vicinity and abandon its attempt to reintroduce them as immediate tasks if it wants dialogue. The U.S. is dreaming of new provocations while blatantly challenging the DPRK's warning. The U.S. has so far let loose a spate of balderdash that the DPRK is perpetrating "provocations" whenever an opportunity presented itself. Dancing to the tune of the U.S., riffraffs are becoming increasingly vocal in the smear campaign against the DPRK. But all facts go to prove that the U.S. is the provocateur to ignite a nuclear war while escalating the tension on the Korean Peninsula to the maximum. The U.S. persistent military provocations would result in escalating the political and military tough measures of the DPRK to cope with them. |
