The championship held in Kazakhstan from April 27 to 29 brought together at least 60 men and women players from the DPRK, China, Kazakhstan, Iran and other countries and regions.

Jong Kum Hwa and Kim Hye Song presented diverse and peculiar movements requiring high techniques in women's duet etude, emerging winners.

Meanwhile, Kim Chol Song and Kim Yu Gyong won silver medals in mixed duet etude.
