Present there were Kim Ki Nam, secretary of the C.C., the WPK, officials of the party and administration bodies and working people's organizations in Pyongyang, officials in the fields of science, education, literature and arts, media and preservation of revolutionary relics and those of party cadre training institutions.

Presented at the seminar were papers proving the originality, scientific nature, truth and vitality of the line set forth at the March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of the C.C., the WPK.

Yun U Chol, editor-in-chief of Rodong Sinmun, said that the original line put forward by the dear respected Kim Jong Un is the most scientific and revolutionary strategy and an immortal great programme which indicates the path of final victory. The nuclear force of the DPRK has grown to be a nuclear treasure of justice with higher comprehensive performance and the building of nuclear force has been laid down as a lasting revolutionary strategy, he noted, adding that the DPRK has thus emerged a power making a breach in the structure of world politics centered on nuclear powers and steering the international political trend.

Ri Hye Jong, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, said that the validity of the line lies in that it helps remarkably strengthen war deterrent for self-defence to win the final victory in the all-out action against the U.S. and ensures the maximum effect in developing the national economy and bolstering defence capabilities to suit the specific conditions of the DPRK, adding: The line is a brilliant inheritance and development of the line of simultaneously pushing forward the economy and defence upbuilding which was laid down and had been thoroughly applied by the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

Vice-Premier Jon Sung Hun underscored the need to put bigger spurs to the struggle to build an economic power and improve the standard of people's living by devotedly implementing the WPK's new line.

Jang Yun Gon, director of the International Affairs Institute, noted that the strategy for building defence capabilities with nuclear force as the mainstay is a declaration of the stand of the DPRK that it would never abandon nuclear weapons and is an invincible revolutionary strategy which demonstrated the will of the great Paektusan nation to dynamically advance along the fastest way of prosperity while bolstering the country's defence capabilities in every way.

Cha Yong Myong, director of Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, said that the March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of the C.C., the WPK marked a historic meeting which put the independent dignity and position of the DPRK on the highest level and provided the landmark turn in bringing earlier the final victory of building a thriving nation.
