Pyongyang, May 1 (KCNA) -- Papers here today dedicate editorials to May Day. The working people of Songun Korea are the fighters and patriots who have performed heroic feats for the party, leader, country and revolution under the wise leadership of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, Rodong Sinmun says, and goes on: The Korean people have now turned out as one in the drive to carry out the strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force set forth at the historic March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea. Steadfast is the idea and cause of the WPK as there are the ten million-strong ranks sharing the intention and destiny with the leader, true to the thought and line of the party at any place anytime. As the people face a do-or-die battle of whether they defend independence or fall to subordination, they entered the all-out action to settle accounts with the U.S. imperialists in the spirit of the resolute anti-U.S. struggle. Korean-style socialism is invincible as long as there are the indomitable people who do not make the slightest concession or compromise in order to protect their idea and social system. There is no limit to the mental power of the working people of the DPRK who are making great leap forward and innovations after laying the firm foundation for overtaking the world with their own efforts and technology despite the imperialists' persistent moves to isolate and stifle the DPRK. The DPRK will shed its rays as a great heroic country of miracles as there are the people with indomitable will to build a thriving nation of Juche on this land. Minju Joson says the Korean people are displaying their might as the most revolutionary people upholding the party and the leader with faith and obligation. The DPRK will certainly attain a high eminence of an economic power and fully display the dignity and national power of Songun Korea thanks to their devoted efforts, the paper concludes. |
