S. Korea Plans to Stage War Drills in Forefront Areas

Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- The south Korean metropolitan army corps plans to stage the Hwarang drill in Inchon and Kyonggi Province from May 6 to 10, according to Yonhap News of south Korea.

To be involved in the drill are troops of the corps, civilians, administrative officials, police, reserve forces, etc.

Timed to coincide with the drill, the 17th Division of the puppet army also plans to a drill in Seoul and its vicinity allegedly to cope with infiltration from the north as part of its scenario to escalate the confrontation.
