Minju Joson Condemns U.S. for Mocking at World
Pyongyang, May 2 (KCNA) -- High-ranking authorities of the U.S. claimed that the DPRK's position toward dialogue is "unacceptable" and that in order to have "trustworthy and sincere" negotiations it is necessary for "north Korea to show its sincere attitude toward the issue of abandoning the nuclear weapons".

Minju Joson Thursday says in a bylined article in this regard:

This is a brigandish assertion of those accustomed to high-handed and arbitrary practices.

The U.S. attitude toward the DPRK's position showed that the U.S. is not interested in dialogue with the DPRK and fully revealed its intention to stifle the latter militarily through its continued hostile policy.

In fact, it is the U.S. that compelled the DPRK to build nuclear force and destroyed the denuclearization process on the Korean Peninsula.

Nevertheless, the U.S. has urged the DPRK to accept "its demand for denuclearization" and show the "will for abandoning nuclear weapons". Such act is viewed as illogical and contradictory in any aspect.

The U.S. demand for abandonment of nuclear weapons is not for the detente on the Korean Peninsula but for the attainment of the final goal in its hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The U.S. is seeking to disarm the DPRK and, furthermore, stifle it by force of arms.

It is evident to everyone that the DPRK can never accept the U.S. brigandish demand.

Now that the U.S. is forcing the DPRK to accept such unilateral demand and posing nuclear threat, the DPRK will never sit with the U.S. and even if such negotiations are held, there will be no solution to the issue.

The U.S. had better stop at once such poor farce as deceiving and mocking at the world with the uninteresting issue of dialogue.
