DPRK's Measures on KIZ Supported by Swiss Organizations

| Pyongyang, May 3 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea issued a joint statement on April 27 supporting the statement released by the spokesman for the Policy Department of the National Defence Commission (NDC) of the DPRK. Noting the Kaesong Industrial Zone (KIZ) is a precious product of the June 15 era of reunification brought about by the efforts of the DPRK, the statement said: The south Korean regime is to wholly blame for the danger of the impending collapse of the KIZ. Nevertheless, it went the lengths of releasing an "ultimatum-like statement" making a mockery of the DPRK. The south Korean regime should bear in mind that it is to blame for the deteriorating inter-Korean relations. Whether the KIZ will be totally closed or not hinges on the behavior of the chief of Chongwadae and her minions. We fully support all the measures taken by the DPRK including the statement of the spokesman for the NDC Policy Department. |
