KPA Anniversary Observed Abroad
Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- Events took place abroad in the period between April 23 and 25 to mark the 81st anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

They included opening ceremonies of Korean book, photo and handicraft exhibitions in Russia and Peru and a lecture in Guinea.

Displayed in the venues of the exhibitions were photos dealing with immortal exploits of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il and the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

On display also were works of the peerlessly great persons of Mt. Paektu, books and photos introducing Songun Korea and handicrafts associated with wisdom and talents of the Korean people.

A vice mayor of a Russian city said in his speech at an opening ceremony of the exhibition that the KPA has grown up to be matchless army under the leadership of Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.

He continued:

We hear with great interest the news of the revolutionary activities of Marshal Kim Jong Un successfully carrying out the behests of the preceding leaders.

The DPRK has emerged victorious in the DPRK-U.S. confrontation.

No one in the world can match the DPRK in which the leader, the party, army and the people are single-mindedly united.

At the end of an opening ceremony, the governor of San Isidro District, Lima City, Peru, going round the venue of the exhibition, said he was greatly excited to see the developed culture of the DPRK and talents of the Korean people.

A vice director of a Guinean company in the lecture noted that the invincible might of the KPA draws the attention of the international community.
