KPA Anniversary Observed by Russian Papers
Pyongyang, May 4 (KCNA) -- Russian papers carried special write-ups illustrated with photos of the peerlessly great men of Mt. Paektu conducting revolutionary activities to mark the 81st anniversary of the Korean People's Army (KPA).

The Russian paper Patriot No. 15 referred to the validity of the new strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and buildup of nuclear force set forth by the dear respected Kim Jong Un at the March, 2013 plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea.

It carried an article calling on progressive humanity to extend support to the just cause of the Korean people.

Veteran No. 16 introduced in detail that the Korean revolutionary armed forces created the history of winning victory after victory in the showdown with the imperialists thanks to the great brilliant Songun commanders.

Another paper on April 17 in an article titled "The rumbling thunder in the East" underlined the validity of the third underground nuclear test conducted by the DPRK to cope with the accusation of the U.S. and its allies over the satellite launch for peaceful purposes.

It is by no means fortuitous that the world community called the nuclear test a thunder-like measure of justice to punish injustice, the article said, adding the DPRK's thunder will continue rolling in the future, too.

Noting that the U.S. suffered a miserable defeat in the past Korean war, it warned that the U.S. should never forget it but be aware that the DPRK is no longer a young country as in the 1950s.
