U.S. Moves for War Block under Fire
Pyongyang, May 5 (KCNA) -- The U.S. has established an Asian missile defence system involving Japan and south Korea, while making closer its military cooperative ties with Japan and south Korea respectively.

It is also zealously instigating Japan and south Korea to forge a military alliance.

In this regard Minju Joson on Sunday observes in a commentary:

The U.S. is explaining the moves as for "protecting" the U.S. forces and its allies from possible "military provocation" by the DPRK, but the fact is not that simple as it explains.

The U.S. has long pursued a plan for establishing in the Asian-Pacific region a triangular military alliance involving Japan and south Korea, in other words an Asia-version NATO to take military supremacy in the region.

But things have not gone well as it wished in forming an alliance between Japan and south Korea for neighboring powers' strong warning and opposition and for historical reasons.

The U.S. is judging that now when a touch-and-go situation is prevailing in the Korean Peninsula is the high time for establishing a war block under the pretext of "threat from north Korea."

It is undoubted that the situation in the Asian-Pacific will remain tense as long as the U.S. regards the region as the most important one vital to their interests.

After moving its strategic center for world domination to the Asian-Pacific, the U.S. is taking the DPRK as the first target of attack.

Under such situation it is urgent for the DPRK to bolster up national defence capability in every way.
