S. Korean Authorities' Foolish Farce under Fire

Pyongyang, May 6 (KCNA) -- The south Korean puppet authorities brought together human scum who defected from the DPRK for an "event of week for freedom" from the end of April to May 4. At this event they groundlessly slandered the DPRK over "human rights" and the like. Some members of the "Saenuri Party" appeared there to cry out for muscling the "bill on human rights in the north through the National Assembly" this year without fail, kicking up confrontation hysteria. The south Korean Intelligence Service fabricated the fictitious "spy-ring case of defectors" in a bid to tarnish the image of the DPRK and stir up hostility towards it.

Rodong Sinmun Monday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The "event of week for freedom" and the "spy-ring case of defectors" orchestrated by the south Korean authorities are renewed charades to tarnish the dignified social system in the DPRK and keep the north-south relations in the worst phase.

With no frenzy can they obscure the bright prospect of single-mindedly united Korean socialism winning one victory after another thanks to the intense loyalty and strong sense of obligation of all the service personnel and people towards their leader.

They kicked off another hysteric anti-DPRK smear campaign over "spy-ring case" in an effort to save their confrontation policy from a total failure and escalate the confrontation with the DPRK.

They would be well advised to bear in mind that such poor charades would get them nowhere.
