Now that the forces keen to invade the DPRK have become undisguised in their scenario to ignite a nuclear war against it, it is the only option of the DPRK for protecting the country's sovereignty and its supreme interests to counter them with its war deterrence for self-defence including nuclear deterrence. This is quite evident.

The all-out action taken by the service personnel and people of the DPRK was prompted by their crucial decision to put an end to the tragedy of national division which has lasted for several decades and achieve the historic cause of national reunification.

The present authorities of south Korea are letting loose such rhetoric that they are interested in the improvement of the north-south relations, talking about "confidence" and the like. This is, however, nothing but a cynical ploy to conceal their true intention to escalate the confrontation.

The south Korean puppet forces have cried out for "change" and "dismantlement of nuclear weapons" and even said they would react to provocation "with stern punishment". This, in fact, proves that they are following in the footsteps of traitor Lee Myung Bak in the vicious policy of confrontation.

The DPRK's deterrence for self-defence is being bolstered up to be invincible.

What remains to be done by the patriotic service personnel and people of the DPRK is to mete out a merciless punishment to the U.S. imperialists and the south Korean puppet warmongers. -0-
