S. Korean "Saenuri Party" Accused of Trying to Dissolve Pro-Reunification Organizations

Pyongyang, May 10 (KCNA) -- The south Korean "Saenuri Party" recently fabricated a "draft bill on dissolving criminal organizations" which calls for forcibly dissolving the pro-reunification organizations. It was reported that if the bill is passed through the puppet National Assembly, all the progressive organizations for the reunification movement, including the Solidarity for Implementing the South-North Joint Declaration and the South Headquarters of the Pan-National Alliance for Korea's Reunification, will be forcibly dissolved. The Secretariat of the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea in its information bulletin No. 1035 observes in this regard: Such moves of the "Saenuri Party" are an unpardonable fascist violence to forcibly disorganize and stamp out the pro-reunification organizations by branding them as "criminal organizations" in a bid to bar the movement for national reunification, escalate the confrontation with compatriots and make south Korean society Americanized and conservative. These reckless acts can never be pardoned as they brought to light its true colors as a fascist party for confrontation denying the north-south joint declarations and opposing the national concord and reunification. The real criminal organizations that should be eliminated now are not the pro-reunification organizations but the anti-reunification group of traitors such as the "Saenuri Party" and the ultra-right conservative organizations seeking sycophancy toward the U.S., confrontation with compatriots and fascist dictatorship. It is evident that should they be allowed to be still at large, south Korean society will turn into a theatre of fascist rowdyism. The south Korean people should resolutely shatter the anti-reunification treacherous moves of the "Saenuri Party" keen to obliterate the patriotic movement for national reunification, and conduct a more dynamical action for independence, democracy and reunification. |
