"The Inaugural Declaration of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland", published on May 5, Juche 25 (1936), explains the reason why the Korean people failed to achieve national independence and liberation in the past and sets forth tasks to be carried out by them on the basis of the Ten-Point Programme of the Association for the Restoration of the Fatherland.

The ten-point programme deals with the political, economic, cultural and military tasks to be fulfilled at the stage of the anti-imperialist, anti-feudal democratic revolution.

"On the Three Principles of National Reunification", published on May 3 and November 3, Juche 61 (1972), clarifies the three principles of national reunification -- independence, peaceful reunification and great national unity -- and the idea of achieving cooperation between the north and the south of Korea.
