This Olympics has been held since 2010 to find out and put forward art talents, educate the rising generations in the spirit of patriotism, widely disseminate historical and cultural legacies and boost the cultural exchange and cooperation among various countries in the world.

It brought together more than 250 students from the DPRK, Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. It was divided into various panels including vocal music, instrumental music, poem composition and fine arts.

The instrumental music was graded by single appraisement on the play of musical instruments including bayan, piano, violin, cello, accordion and wind instrument.

By giving excellent bayan rendition of the Korean song "General on a Galloping White Horse" and various foreign songs, Paek was honored with International Art Olympic laurel, winning high appraisement in her debut.

At a closing ceremony on May 10, she was awarded with a diploma of the first grade, a cup and a medal.
