Present there were Kim Jin Bom, vice-chairman of the Korean Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries and director of the Pyongyang International New Technological and Economic Information Exchange Agency, officials of ministries and national institutions, officials and researchers in the field of scientific research and agricultural experts.

Members of the delegation of the International Federation of Organic Agriculture Movements headed by President Andre Frederick Leu attended.

There were lectures under several titles including "Fertility of soil in organic agriculture", "Green manure", "Multi-functional benefits of organic agriculture, soil health and nutrition" and "Humus soil and its making".

A practical workshop took place at the Ssangun Organic Agriculture Experiment Station in South Phyongan Province. Its participants exchanged successes and experience achieved in disseminating the know-how of organic agriculture.
