The historic plenary meeting of the C.C., the Workers' Party of Korea (WPK) held on March 31 set forth a strategic line on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force, the article said, and went on:

The WPK's strategic line of building a thriving nation and achieving national reunification is a brilliant succession of the original line on simultaneously developing economic construction and defence upbuilding which was advanced and thoroughly implemented by President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il and development of the line at a new high stage.

The new line laid down by the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un serves as a powerful weapon for resolutely foiling the moves of the U.S. imperialists, the south Korean puppet forces and hostile forces for aggression and defending the sovereignty of the country and a most powerful treasured sword for carrying out the Songun revolution.

The DPRK's access to nuclear weapons is a legitimate right of the Korean people.

It can never become any bargaining chip and the Korean people will never abandon it as long as the U.S. imperialists persist in their hostile policy toward the DPRK.

The WPK's new line fully demonstrated the rare wisdom of Kim Jong Un leading the Korean nation to prosperity in the 21st century.
