End to Unpopular Education Policy Called for in S. Korea
Pyongyang, May 18 (KCNA) -- The Teachers Trade Union of south Korea held a rally outside Posin Pavilion in Seoul on Tuesday, calling for putting an end to the unpopular education policy.

At the rally speakers charged that education for the privileged is in force at schools and violence against students is daily occurrence.

Consequently, students are choosing to commit suicides, wriggling in despair, they said, adding this is evidently a social murder.

Only when the unpopular education policy is terminated and human rights are guaranteed, is it possible to protect students, they stressed.

They called for turning out in the drive to enforce proper education.
