Present there were at least 150 delegates and officials of political parties and organizations from more than 20 countries.

A resolution on solidarity for the DPRK was adopted at the seminar.

The U.S. prodded the UN Security Council into adopting a "resolution" against the DPRK, terming its satellite launch in December last year an "inter-continental ballistic missile launch", the resolution said, and went on:

The DPRK's satellite launch was an exercise of its legitimate right which no one can call into question.

The DPRK was compelled to conduct the third underground nuclear test to cope with the arbitrary practices of the U.S. and hostile forces which wantonly violated the independent right of a sovereign state.

The DPRK's third underground nuclear test was a just step to defend the supreme interests of the state from the hostile acts of the imperialist allied forces to encroach upon the sovereignty and dignity of the country. The U.S. and its followers, however, faked up again a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK to make the public convince that the DPRK has increased the nuclear threat.

The DPRK has been exposed to the U.S. nuclear threats.

The Korean Peninsula has become the most dangerous region where a nuclear war may break out any time due to the U.S. moves.
