The nature of U.S. opt-repeated "democracy" and "human rights protection" has been brought to light through the atrocity. At that time the U.S. confirmed that it would follow through on its "security commitment" with puppet south Korea and declared that it does not contradict with the U.S. "human rights policy".

Brezinski, the then special assistant to the U.S. president for national security, blustered even the U.S. forces would be involved in quenching the violent mobs, while calling for quelling them with an iron fist.

Uttering surprising is that the U.S. and the south Korean puppet forces have gone scot-free despite their unprecedented heinous human rights abuses.
