Seen in the upper part of the stamp are Korean, Chinese and English letters reading "A Garden City, A Beautiful Home", a theme of the exposition, as well as an emblem of the exposition.

The stamp features a painting "A cat on the tree" drawn by Ri Am (1499-?), a Korea's master painter in the 16th century.

The exposition, which will run from May-November, will draw 20 odd countries, regions and organizations around the world, including the DPRK.

Meanwhile, four kinds of stamps and a sheetlet picturing owls and monkeys were issued in the country.
