Japanese Rightist Element Urged to Apologize for His Remarks

Pyongyang, May 21 (KCNA) -- Victims to sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army in Kwangju City, Kyonggi Province of south Korea on May 19 issued a statement refuting the remarks made by a Japanese rightist element. The statement expressed resentment at Osaka Mayor Hashimoto, a co-head of the Japan Restoration Party, who made remarks justifying the past crimes related to sexual slavery. Those victims who were taken away as sexual slaves to the battlefields for aggression war ignited by Japan have not yet gotten rid of the nightmare in those days, the statement deplored. It urged the Japanese government to apologize to the victims for his nonsensical remarks. |
