The attendants of the meeting were briefed on the situation on the Korean Peninsula and heard speeches.

The secretary of a district committee of Rome Municipality of the Communist Party of Italy said that the U.S. and other imperialist reactionary forces and media of the West were conducting sheer false propaganda about the DPRK. Consequently, not a few people have a wrong understanding of the reality of the DPRK and the cause of the tension on it, he noted, adding:

We have the pleasure to inform the attendants of the situation on the Korean Peninsula to help them have a correct understanding of the aims sought by the U.S. and its allies, the just measures taken by the DPRK to cope with them and its reality.

The secretary general of the European Society for the Study of the Juche Idea said that it was the height of double standards applied by the U.S. and its allies to claim that the DPRK alone is not allowed to launch satellites.

He went on:

The U.S. recently staged provocative and large-scale war exercises in the vicinity of the Korean Peninsula, pushing the situation to the worst phase.

It is natural for the DPRK to react to the U.S. moves to stifle it with the toughest measures.

The U.S. can never bring the DPRK to its knees as it is led by the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Italian Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said that the ceaseless military threat posed by the U.S. to the DPRK while persistently pursuing hostile policy towards it is aimed to bring down the socialist system in the DPRK.

He continued: The U.S. will remain unchanged in its aggressive scenario to increase its political and military influence through military intervention in sovereign states.

The DPRK will smash the moves of the U.S. and its allies to stifle it and defend socialism to the last.

All the progressive political parties, organizations and personages of Italy extend full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle.
