Lacquered Vase, Gift to Kim Il Sung from Japanese Figure

| Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- On display at the International Friendship Exhibition House in the DPRK is a lacquered vase, presented to President Kim Il Sung as a gift by the chief of the Wakayama, Japan, Society for the Study of the Juche Idea. While studying the President's famous works, the chief could grasp the truthfulness, scientific accuracy and great vitality of the Juche idea. With deep reverence for Kim Il Sung as founder of the immortal Juche idea, he worked hard to disseminate the idea among Japanese people. The vase was made from a sun tree. This presentation was proposed at the seminar on the Juche idea, organized by the society on the threshold of Kim Il Sung's 80th birthday (April 15, 1992). |
