Kim Jong Un's Special Envoy Meets Wang Jiarui

Pyongyang, May 22 (KCNA) -- Vice Marshal of the Korean People's Army (KPA) Choe Ryong Hae, member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and director of the KPA General Political Bureau, met and had a friendly talk with Wang Jiarui, vice-chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference who is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and head of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee, at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse in Beijing Wednesday. Choe Ryong Hae is visiting the People's Republic of China as a special envoy of Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea and first chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK.

Present there were Deputy Head Liu Jieyi, Assistant to Head Yang Yanyi and other officials of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee, and DPRK Ambassador to China Ji Jae Ryong,

Wang Jiarui warmly welcomed Choe Ryong Hae to China as a special envoy of the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

Both sides exchanged views on matters of further improving the bilateral friendly relations at a new, higher stage.

The talks proceeded in a cordial atmosphere.

After the talk, Wang Jiarui hosted a luncheon for the special envoy and his party.
