U.S. Moves for Aggression Slammed

Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- British organizations in a joint statement on May 7 denounced the U.S. imperialists and south Korean puppet forces for moving to provoke a war against the DPRK. They included the British Association for the Study of Songun Policy, the British Group for the Study of the Juche Idea and the British Branch of the Korean Friendship Association.

The statement said:

As soon as Key Resolve and Foal Eagle joint military exercises ended, the U.S. and the south Korean warmongers staged a shelling drill targeting the DPRK on Paekryong and Yonphyong islands in the West Sea of Korea from May 5 and planned a large joint naval war drill.

This is an unpardonable provocation against the DPRK.

The DPRK has kept to the road of the Songun revolution under the wise leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un and it is neither browbeaten nor yield to threat by the enemies.

The DPRK is a country of Songun equipped with powerful means for defence.

The Korean People's Army under the invincible leadership of Kim Jong Un will resolutely foil the U.S. reckless moves to ignite a war.
