Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- The editor of Minjok Thongsin, an internet paper of Koreans in the U.S., on May 17 expressed impressions of his visit to the DPRK. Saying all the service personnel and people in the homeland are single-mindedly united around the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, the editor spoke highly of their matchless respect and reverence for him. Referring to the line on simultaneously advancing economic construction and the building of nuclear force set forth at the March, 2013 Plenary Meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, he said the DPRK is fully confident of its ability to thwart any provocation by the imperialists as it has modern military forces. Noting modern buildings including apartment houses and service centers have been recently built in Pyongyang and various other parts, he said: "Keep Your Feet Firmly Planted on This Land and Look Out over the World!", an aphorism of leader Kim Jong Il, chairman of the National Defence Commission of the DPRK, is in active embodiment in the homeland. Amid screwed-up confrontation with the U.S., the youth and students in the homeland said that they are working hard while waiting for the order of the Marshal. The scholarly performance of the students is improving on a daily basis and many schoolchildren's palaces and halls were built throughout the country to contribute to the improvement of their artistic aptitudes. The editor said he would be active in informing the compatriots of the situation of the homeland. |
