Pyongyang, May 24 (KCNA) -- More than 100 Korean counsels from across Japan accused Osaka Mayor Hashimoto, an ultra-rightist, of his remarks negating the sexual slavery crime of the past Imperial Japanese Army on May 17, according to the south Korean Kyunghyang Daily News. They said the mayor in his remarks falsified the truth about the past of Japan, which committed sexual slavery crime for the imperial army in a fraudulent and violent way. The imperial army, for confidentiality and other military purposes, used even teenage girls, they noted. Saying the remarks of Hashimoto, who is also a counsel, are against the counsel's obligation of advocating human rights, they said they would urge the Japan Federation of Bar Associations to punish him for delinquency. They thrust a statement issued in demand of the apology of Hashimoto to the above-said federation. |
