DPRK Is Strong in Independence: Indian Personage
Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- The Indian paper People's Democracy carried an article titled "DPRK vs. shrinking U.S." contributed by Suneet Chopra, secretary general of the All India Indo-Korean Friendship Association who is a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of India (Marxist).

The article said:

The Korean revolution pioneered by President Kim Il Sung was brilliantly carried forward by leader Kim Jong Il and is now making victorious advance thanks to the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The DPRK is strong in independence.

So, all the attempts of the imperialists to stifle the country could not but go bankrupt.

The U.S. more desperately moved to stifle the DPRK when the latter successfully launched a satellite last year.

To cope with the provocation by the former, the latter showed in its practical action how to protect the sovereignty.

The U.S. prodded the UN Security Council into fabricating a "resolution on sanctions" against the DPRK before staging with its allies unprecedentedly large war drills targeting the DPRK.

However, the DPRK couldn't pardon those war drills as it is strong in independence.

It declared at home and abroad that the inter-Korean relations enter war-time state and nullified the Armistice Agreement which had existed for 60 years.

It is admirable that the Korean people armed with the Songun idea are boldly countering the provocation by the U.S. and its allies.

We will as ever stand on the side of the Korean people who are struggling to defend the sovereignty of the country and achieve peace and reunification of the Korean Peninsula.
