|
Pyongyang, May 25 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Kyunghyang Daily News on Tuesday carried an article accusing the puppet authorities of their pro-Japanese humiliating act. The article referred to the reckless remarks made by Japanese politicians. Typical of them are the continued remarks made by Osaka Mayor Hashimoto, co-head of the Japan Restoration Party, justifying the past sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army, it said, terming it a serious provocation. But the present regime remains a passive onlooker at the remarks, waiting for Japan's change of its attitude, the article said, adding all people feel humiliated. It urged the authorities not to lament and express regret at Japan's remarks any longer but take concrete and substantial countermeasures. Peace cannot be realized in Northeast Asia as long as Japan continues to distort history, the article stressed. |
