The media in a series of commentaries brought to light the sinister intention and nature of the U.S. which disturbs peace on the peninsula and in Asia and other parts of the world.

The Russian papers Sovetskaya Rossiya, Tribuna and Zavtra, the Egyptian paper Sautl Balad, the Brazilian paper Hora do Povo and other media carried commentaries like "Who threatens peace on the Korean Peninsula?" and "U.S. is responsible for DPRK's access to nukes" and "Why is space exploration necessary for the DPRK?"

The Austrian paper Wiener Zeitung dismissed some media's assertion that the DPRK caused a crisis in violation of international law.

The Korean Peninsula is an outpost necessary to Washington for invading the continent, the paper stated, and went on:

Washington got fussy about branding the peaceful satellite of the DPRK as an unjust act in a bid to justify its aggression moves.

Washington's design is to stifle Pyongyang. It is the U.S. which escalated the DPRK-U.S. confrontation into a nuclear-to-nuclear one.

If Washington had not introduced nuclear weapons into south Korea, the peninsula would have already become denuclearized.

Halo Noviny, a paper of the Czech Republic, said the U.S. always feels the need to have enemy and makes one if not. The DPRK has become the first target of the U.S. If Washington wants a war, it can launch it anytime which will be preceded by provocation. Washington subsists by creating a horror-ridden atmosphere by sparking off conflict with the enemy. It is Washington's policy to stifle Pyongyang.

The Cuban paper Granma said Washington is fanning up the tension on the peninsula with the introduction of modern war hardware. The paper added that the tense situation on the peninsula is what is desired by Washington to expand its influence to the Asia-Pacific region.

The world media support the Korean people in their just cause of confronting the U.S. and its hostile forces with tougher measures and are sure of Songun Korea's final victory.

The Indonesian paper Siputar Indonesia, the Syrian paper Al Nour and other foreign papers carried articles titled "DPRK's nuclear weapons provide power for ensuring peace" and "Peace and A-bomb". They mentioned the prospect of the DPRK-U.S. nuclear confrontation, highlighting the justice of the Korean army and people in their struggle to defend the sovereignty.

The Ria-Novosti News Agency of Russia said that the DPRK's access to the nuclear deterrent to defend the national sovereignty and security is a fine example of the nuclear-related countries being exposed to the international interference.

The Korean Friendship Association on its website noted it is the unchanged stand of Pyongyang to counter the enemies' daggers with long swords, their rifles with guns and their nuclear threat with stronger precision nuclear strike means.

The Fourth Media News, a website of China, said as follows:

New genuine power Korea is leading the international situation.

Pyongyang's successes in the launch of satellite Kwangmyongsong 3-2 and third underground nuclear test were big achievements of great significance in human history as they were made under the worst long circumstances beyond imagination.

These achievements amount to the announcement to the world that it not only bolstered the nuclear deterrent but succeeded in developing the intercontinental ballistic missile capable of delivering nuclear weapons to the U.S. mainland.

Through confrontation Pyongyang is forcing Washington to stand the final trial.

The La Voz del Obrero Radio Broadcasting Service of Peru said socialist Korea would hold fast to the revolutionary principles and take the way of further bolstering the nuclear deterrent by simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force as long as the U.S. keeps its hostile acts.

The world progressive people and working class extend invariable support and solidarity to the heroic Koreans, the radio said, confirming the DPRK's certain victory in the nuclear confrontation with the U.S.

The website of the Nigerian National Committee for the Study of the Juche Idea said:

As recognized by the world, the DPRK is a country which is strong in independence, a country which does whatever it is determined to do.

Through the satellite launch and nuclear test the DPRK once again demonstrated to the world that independence represents truth and truth is sure to win.

The world would clearly witness how the Korean army and people all out to defend the sovereignty win final victory.
