S. Korean Unification Minister's Reckless Remarks under Fire
Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, Ryu Kil Jae, puppet minister of Unification of south Korea, cried out for "working out a key plan on human rights in the north" by pushing ahead with efforts to institute a "law on human rights in the north." He even urged the north to "fulfill its main duty to solve the human rights issue" and "drop its attitude of making provocations."

Minju Joson Tuesday observes in a bylined commentary in this regard: What Ryu uttered is nothing but jargons let loose by a confrontation maniac to fan up bitterness toward the DPRK and worsen the inter-Korean relations.

The DPRK shapes all policies and conducts all its activities under the slogan "Everything for the people and solution to every issue in reliance upon them!" Human rights are deeply respected and fully guaranteed in the country.

It is south Korea which is beset with a serious human rights problem, the commentary notes, and goes on:

It is ridiculous, indeed, for the south Korean puppet authorities to speak volumes about the above-said odd things though they are not in a position to mind their own business after having turned south Korea into the world's worst tundra of human rights.

What should not be overlooked is that Ryu dared urge the DPRK to "drop its attitude of making provocations." His outpourings are aimed to mislead public opinion in a bid to cover up the responsibility for having created a touch-and-go situation on the Korean Peninsula and label the DPRK "provocateur."

The puppet forces should clearly know that their anti-DPRK human rights racket would get them nowhere but precipitate their self-destruction.
