Rodong Sinmun Refutes Japanese Politicians' Rigmaroles Denying Crime-woven History
Pyongyang, May 28 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, Takaichi, chairman of the Policy Research Council of the Liberal Democratic Party of Japan, grumbled that he does not agree with "Murayama's statement" in which he made an apology for the colonial domination and aggression in the past. By doing so, he revealed his viewpoint denying the crime-woven history of the Japanese imperialists.

Osaka Mayor Hashimoto, co-head of the Japan Restoration Party, also openly denied the sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army.

Co-head Ishihara and General Secretary Matsui of the same party and other politicians vied with each other to talk rubbish backing Hashimoto's balderdash, stressing the necessity of sexual slavery at that time.

Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

It was more than once that the Japanese ruling forces were free to let loose a spate of outbursts tampering with Japan's history, but they have never uttered such whole string of jargons as this time.

The Japanese political camp has seriously lurched to the Right, rushing headlong into ultra-right actions and militarism.

Whenever opportunities present themselves, either ruling or opposition politicians make no scruple of chanting slogans for the denial of the past history, revision of the Constitution and the conversion of Japan into a military giant.

The denial of the crime-woven history reveals a scenario to make the crime-woven past repeat itself.

By denying and embellishing the Japanese imperialists' history of aggression, the Japanese reactionary ruling forces seek to call back the departed soul of militarists and launch reinvasion. Herein lies a criminal scenario of the Japanese politicians.

This is, however, as foolish an act as inviting disasters.

Japan is left with no option but to honestly admit its crime-woven history and make an apology and reparation for all its wrongs.
