Members of Pro-Reunification Organizations Prosecuted in S. Korea

Pyongyang, May 29 (KCNA) -- The south Korean Inchon District Prosecution Office indicted the secretary general and two other members of the "Thongil Achim", an organization for the reunification movement, on charges of the violation of the "Security Law" by linking them with the Wangjaesan case, according to south Korean KBS on May 27. The puppet prosecution took such action for the mere reason that they had books praising the Juche idea and the Songun politics and posted on the website operated by the organization articles reflecting the north's assertion. It also labeled the organization a "vanguard organization of Wangjaesan", claiming that they staged actions for reunification, opposed the south Korea-U.S. joint military exercises and the expansion of the U.S. military base in Phyongthaek and called for the withdrawal of the U.S. forces and the abolition of the "Security Law" in touch with the South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification. As already known, the Wangjaesan case is a spyring case faked up by the Lee Myung Bak group of traitors. The truth about the conspiratorial case had been brought to light. The court once ruled that there was no such organization called Wangjaesan. Nevertheless, the puppet conservative ruling forces have again raised the above-said case in a bid to deliberately link the organization with the DPRK and kick up a fascist whirlwind of suppression and racket for confrontation with the DPRK. |
