Anniversary of Korean People's Victory in War to Be Celebrated in Peru

| Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- A Peruvian preparatory committee was inaugurated in Lima on May 27 to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the Korean people's victory in the great Fatherland Liberation War. Tani Baler Lopera, international secretary of the Communist Party of Peru (Red Motherland) who is chairman of the Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea, was elected chairman of the preparatory committee. The preparatory committee decided to organize various political and cultural events like a celebration meeting, seminar and film show. |
