Japan Slammed for Justifying Its Past Crimes
Pyongyang, June 1 (KCNA) -- South Korean victims of sexual slavery for the Imperial Japanese Army denounced Japan for justifying its past crimes at a meeting held in Osaka, Japan on May 25.

They said that they were forced into sexual servitude at battlefields for nearly ten years after being taken away by the Imperial Japanese Army in their teens.

They said they had to keep their past in mind, unable to open it to others after the liberation of the country.

The mayor of Osaka made reckless remarks justifying Japan's past crimes, they said, questioning whether he is entitled to be a mayor.

Japan is now working hard to commit war crimes again and pursuing the discrimination policy against Koreans in Japan, they held.

They urged the Japanese authorities to liquidate all the past crimes and stop discrimination against Koreans in Japan.
