Nurseries, kindergartens, parks and recreation grounds in Pyongyang and other parts of the country were crowded with children and their parents on the day.

Colorful sports and amusement games and art performances of children took place at nurseries and kindergartens here and Mangyongdae and Taesongsan amusement parks.

Children did morning exercise and rhythmic exercise and had folk plays to the tune of songs "Today Is June 1" and "We Are Also Boy General". Joy of their hopes and talents coming true could be read on their faces.
