The 30 year-long history since this visit indicates that the DPRK-China friendship is an unbreakable one.

He visited China eight times in the 2000s.

Remarkable successes have been achieved in socialist construction of China.

The Korean people sincerely hope the Chinese people would register greater progress in the struggle to build a comprehensively well-off society by embodying the spirit of the 18th Congress of the Communist Party of China in all fields and successfully attaining the grand target of economic construction under the 12th Five-Year Plan.

It is the earnest behests of President Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il to boost the DPRK-China friendship generation after generation.

Kim Jong Un sent his special envoy to China recently who conveyed his personal letter to Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China.
