Rodong Sinmun Tuesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

This is a revelation of the sinister scheme to create complication and lay a new obstacle in the way of improving the north-south relations by setting authorities-level talks against NGO talks and thus deter the normalization of the operation in the KIZ and stem the pro-reunification events marking the anniversary of the June 15 joint declaration.

The south Korean puppet group is talking about "precedence to dialogue between the authorities" as regards the normalization of the operation in the KIZ. But this is nothing but hypocrisy.

It is rubbish that the present ruling forces of south Korea are misleading public opinion, trying to give impressions that the DPRK is set to work with NGOs only, while keeping itself closed to the authorities.

They have malignantly slandered the DPRK with such outbursts as "engaging the U.S. and blocking south Korea" and "creating contradiction among southerners" with all their nerves pointed to the form of dialogue and face-saving. They continue blocking the visit to the KIZ by businessmen of the south side under the unreasonable pretext, a clear indication that they have no intent at all to normalize the operation in the KIZ.

The same can be said of the attitude of the puppet Ministry of Unification toward the joint events for reunification.

Deriding the DPRK's will for reunification as "engaging the U.S. and blocking south Korea" is an unpardonable anti-reunification move and a blatant challenge to the efforts for improving the inter-Korean relations.

The south Korean puppet forces are vociferating about "dialogue between the authorities" but they cannot conceal their real intention to evade inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation at any cost and run headlong for confrontation.

They should act with discretion if they do not want to be thrown into the grave of history after being branded as destroyers of inter-Korean dialogue and cooperation.
