A reporter and speakers including the secretary general of the Bulgaria-Korea Friendship Association, the chairman of the Central Council of the Bulgarian Anti-Fascist Union, the secretary general of the Bulgarian Group for the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism and the honorary chairman of the Bulgarian Communists Union said that Kim Jong Il had developed the WPK into the staff of revolution successfully guiding the Korean people's cause of independence against imperialism and socialist construction for nearly half a century since he started his work at the C.C., WPK on June 19, 1964.

He reliably defended the peace and security of socialist Korea and the world by pursuing original Songun politics, they noted.

The chairman of a regional committee of the France-Korea Friendship Association said Kim Jong Il had developed the WPK into the Kimilsungist party and the mother party truly serving the people from the very day he started his work at the WPK Central Committee.

He noted that Kim Jong Il firmly defended the sovereignty and dignity of the country by shattering the moves of the U.S.-led imperialists to stifle the DPRK.

We will more dynamically wage the activities for supporting the just cause of the Korean people to build a thriving nation and reunify the country independently and peacefully, he stressed.
