Kim Jong Il was a great statesman, invincible and iron-willed commander and benevolent father of the nation who turned the DPRK into a single-mindedly united political and ideological power and invincible military power by wisely leading the party, state, army and people.

He is always remembered by progressive mankind as he made undying contributions to accomplishing the cause of the popular masses for independence and the cause of global independence, holding high the banner of independence against imperialism and the banner of socialism all his life.

The revolutionary cause of Juche, Songun revolutionary cause started by President Kim Il Sung and led by Kim Jong Il is being successfully carried forward by the dear respected Kim Jong Un.

The chairman of the Revolutionary Youth Union of Syria and the director of the international department of the union praised Kim Jong Il's feats in party building as an example to be followed by all the revolutionary parties of the world.

They went on:

We are struck with admiration at the fact that Kim Jong Un is leading the confrontation with the U.S. to victory while carrying forward the idea and line of the preceding leaders. His leadership provides a sure guarantee for enabling the youth and other people of the DPRK to achieve a final victory.

The DPRK is taking toughest measures in succession, standing firm against the U.S. escalating nuclear threat, an indication of the steadfast will to defend the sovereignty of the country. The Syrian people extend full support and encouragement to all measures taken by the DPRK.
