The bulletin said:

There adopted the historic June 15 North-South Joint Declaration in Pyongyang in June 2000, which calls for achieving prosperity common to the nation and reunification of the country in an independent and peaceful way, guided by the idea of "By our nation itself."

Thanks to the adoption of the joint declaration the north and the south of Korea could orientate their work to reconciliation, unity and reunification based on common nationality and blood by overcoming different ideas and social systems and beyond confrontation and mistrust.

Dialogues and negotiations took place in various aspects between the north and the south of Korea after the adoption of the joint declaration.

Joint agreements were reached there from the stand of giving priority to the desire and interests of the fellow countrymen, promoting national unity, reunification, cooperation and exchange and bearing fruition oriented toward national reunification.

However, the south Korean conservative group totally negated the joint declaration right after it took power.

The group is working hard to prevent the inter-Korean cooperation projects, valuable fruition in the June 15 era of reunification, from being implemented and escalate confrontation on the Korean Peninsula by hatching plots in succession.

Affirmation of the June 15 joint declaration precisely means reunification but negation of it a war. This has become the truth recognized not only by the Korean people but the world people.

The Korean nation will surely build a reunified thriving nation under the uplifted banner of the joint declaration.
