According to the order, the organ of the people's security and the Korean People's Internal Security Forces (KPISF) together with the Korean People's Army constitute armed groups which play the role of two mainstays of the Korean revolution.

The people's security persons and service personnel of the KPISF have performed great feats to go down in the history of the country by displaying boundless devotion and self-sacrificing spirit in the sacred struggle to protect the party, social system and people in the days of glory and ordeals under the uplifted banner of devotedly defending the leader.

The prevailing situation urgently requires the people's security organ and the KPISF, revolutionary armed forces of the Workers' Party of Korea, to defend the socialist system as firm as an iron wall and reliably guarantee the party's line of simultaneously pushing forward the economic construction and the building of nuclear force with arms and by law.

Kim Jong Un expressed belief that all service persons of the people's security organ and the KPISF would creditably perform their honorable mission and duty as the first-line soldiers protecting the socialist system, remaining loyal to the leadership of the party.
