It says:

Such solidarity and alliance are a key way of achieving the great unity of the nation and the national reunification.

The DPRK proposed holding talks between the authorities of the north and the south of Korea and resuming the visits, contacts and cooperation projects among NGOs as well as holding joint national events on the occasion of the June 15 joint declaration in the recent special statement issued by a spokesman for the Committee for the Peaceful Reunification of Korea. This reflected the desire and wishes of all the Koreans.

It is certain that when all the Koreans at home and abroad pool their efforts and energies out of patriotism and achieve solidarity and alliance to take joint actions, radical progress will be made in the cause of independent reunification.

There is no reason whatsoever for the south Korean authorities to be wary of the solidarity and alliance among the pro-reunification NGOs at home and abroad.

The visits and exchange among them will, instead, help the authorities of the north and the south resolve knotty problems with ease.

It is high time that whoever worries about the destiny of the nation and wants the improved inter-Korean relations and the reunification of the country contributed to realizing the nationwide solidarity and alliance.

Steadfast is the stance of the DPRK to warm the inter-Korean ties through reconciliation and unity of the nation and achieve the peace and reunification of the country.
