Implementation of North-South Joint Declaration Called for

Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Civic organizations of religious circles of south Korea issued a statement on June 9 calling upon all the Koreans to come out for the implementation of the north-south joint declaration.

The statement said:

It was confirmed in the June 15 joint declaration that peace and reunification are the road to the national prosperity.

The spirit of the joint declaration should be preserved until the day the country is reunified.

The south and the north of Korea earnestly hope that they would exchange and cooperate with each other and become one nation in the spirit of the June 15 joint declaration.
