Pak Pong Ju Makes Field Survey of Ore and Coal Mines
Pyongyang, June 11 (KCNA) -- Premier of the DPRK Cabinet Pak Pong Ju made field surveys of the Toksong Mine and the Kumya Youth Coal Mine in South Hamgyong Province.

Touring open-cast cutting site, dressing plant, coal carriage shop and other places of the ore and coal mines, the premier learned in detail about the ore and coal deposit, mining conditions and equipment operation. He held consultative meetings.

The meetings underscored the need for the relevant units to satisfactorily supply raw and other materials and electricity as required by the important duties to be performed by the ore and coal mines in economic construction and improvement of the people's standard of living.

They took measures for transporting greater quantities of concentrated ore and coal in good time and raising the operation rate of rolling stock by reinforcing the strength of railroads and cutting down the turnround time of freight wagons.

Recalling that the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un called for ushering in a new heyday on all fronts for socialist construction by creating the "Masikryong Speed," the premier urged the officials of the relevant units to scrupulously organize and command operations and give full play to the mental power of the workers to boost production.
