The Peruvian Group of the Study of Kimilsungism-Kimjongilism in its statement said that the adoption of the June 15 joint declaration was an eye-opening event, indeed, adding:

The declaration is a historic one which reaffirmed the fact that the Koreans are the same nation that can never live separated and the issue of the country's reunification should be settled by the Koreans themselves in an independent and peaceful way.

Thanks to its adoption dialogue and exchange were brisk in different fields between the north and south of Korea and the June 15 era of reunification was ushered in the Korean Peninsula.

What the Korean nation desires is peace and reunification, not war and division.

The U.S. should no longer impose pain of division upon the Korean nation but get out of south Korea.

We invariably support the June 15 joint declaration.

The Peruvian Committee for Supporting the Independent and Peaceful Reunification of Korea in its statement noted that undying are the feats Kim Jong Il performed by ushering in the new era of independent reunification, the June 15 era of reunification through the dedication of his whole life to the accomplishment of the cause of national reunification.

The statement went on:

We, on behalf of progressive political parties and organizations in Peru, express invariable support to the June 15 joint declaration.

They are convinced that the Korean people would surely achieve the independent and peaceful reunification of the country under the Songun leadership of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un, true to the last instructions of the great Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il for national reunification.
